Faustino is a graduate of Radford University in Radford, Virginia. After graduation, he attended and graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. He then trained in general surgery for 2 years at Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but ultimately finished up his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Health Systems in Philadelphia. He has extensive training and experience in General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Hospitality Medicine and in Boutique Medicine. He currently is on staff and has full admitting privileges at AtlanticCare Regional Medical center in both Pomona and Atlantic City, New Jersey. He is affectionately called the "rock doc" in Atlantic City by his friends in the entertainment industry since he has taken care of hundreds of musicians, actors, athletes and entertainers while they have visited Atlantic City. In addition, he is a physician for the New Jersey State Athletic Commission and serves as a ringside physician at professional and amateur boxing and mixed martial arts competitions. He has a special interest and passion in delivering state of the art medical care in the home environment, but believes in continuity of care and therefore has hospital privileges at local hospitals, nursing homes and medical rehabilitation facilities so he can take care of his patients throughout their entire health care experience. |
